Please boycott Scotland and...

... send me the whisky. I'll drink it myself.

This is what selling out looks like

Ibish has never been a man whom I trusted, but he did some decent work in the early days. Here is what has become of him:

Naiveté? Stupidity? Saudi royal dough?
Or a mixture of all the above?

I responded in thre points:

Hussein Ibish now represents... Hussein Ibish.

Protocols of the Arab Elders

"Every real Arab, deep inside, is kind of a fan of the Nazis."

Then this:
"
I know the guy personaly. He's an Arab, who even though he converted still acts like an Arab."... whatever that means.

It's all here, in its full beauty:

You read it here first!

It will only be a matter of time before they start exporting oil to Israel (and I actually understand the Kurdish struggle for recognition and some form of autonomy.)

The stench of Ramakism

Do you recognize one when you smell it?

They can't be beaten. They will always win!

Israel (regime, army, and most of the society) should kiss goodbye its dreams of beating the Palestinians into submission. Evidence? Here it is:

Are you afraid of North Korean nukes?

I am not. It's Israeli nukes which worry me.

After all, Israel, not North Korea, is the state which, already in 1981, was called upon by the UN Security Council "urgently to place its nuclear facilities under the safeguards of the International Atomic Energy Agency."

We're still waiting...

Media gems - Tim Franks of the BBC collects clichés and calls the result a diary

If you want to do the same, here is the recipe:

  • Deny that the place has a tradition which it obviously has (cartoons, in this case): "But in the Middle East, there has not been much of that tradition."
  • Use a simplistic argument to explain your false claim. Religion is what works best: "Islamic tradition has discouraged figurative depiction of human beings; in Judaism, pictures are used only sparingly."
  • Now, finish by insisuating that a pro-US dictatorship is better than other dictatorships. In order to do that, what better than an unverified claim by someone from the region? "At least, he said, Jordan is in a "much, much better situation" than Syria, among other Middle Eastern countries. "

The piece of junk is here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7945817.stm

P.S.: I am among those who responded to that article. The BBC published it on that page.

Plain good old colonialism

"En refusant cette responsabilité, la France ne serait pas seulement infidèle à ses alliés. Elle serait surtout infidèle à elle-même, à sa grandeur et à sa vocation. Il s'agit d'un choix qui engage l'identité de notre nation. Un choix d'alliance et de valeurs. Et davantage encore le choix d'un destin."

Who gives a sh#t about the Israeli elections?

Who will win?

The colonisers or the colonisers?
The killers or the killers?
The occupiers or the occupiers?
The racists or the racists?
The terrorists or the terrorists?

Why should I give a flying about it?

Holocaust Survivor Speaks Her Mind about Israeli Agression

I never thought that I would be including anything by that channel, but even Fox News has a few rare moments of truth.

We CAN help Gaza!

Let's donate!

The UNRWA is still working in Gaza and receiving donations:
http://www.un.org/unrwa/

Free Gaza, whose last boat was rammed by the Israeli Pirate Army, is also taking donations:
http://www.freegaza.org/index.php?language=EN&module=donations

Aloha Palestine, who intends to open a regular boat line between Cyprus and Gaza, is also taking donations:
https://alohapalestine.com/donate/

Let's help them!

P.S. on 8 January 2009: Yesterday, UNRWA halted its aid thanks to more Israeli piracy (if "more" is possible.)
